LoC Shelling: 3 persons brought dead as many injured received after May 7, says Pr GMC Rajouri | KNO

Srinagar, May 14 (KNO): Three persons were brought dead while three others were critically injured after shelling started across the border on May 7th, officials said on Wednesday. In a press conference at GMC Rajouri, Principal GMC Rajouri Dr Amarjeet Bhatia as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a total of 27 patients were brought to the GMC Rajouri, who were injured due to the shelling in Poonch and Rajouri areas. He said that three persons were brought dead to the hospital and three were critically injured while a total six are undergoing treatment at the hospital while the rest have been discharged after recovery. Bhatia also said that a child was hit by a shell, which had pierced through his belly and had critically injured his intestines, and he was timely operated and his intestines were repaired and currently he is out of danger. He added that another girl child was brought to hospital whose hip was badly damaged by the shell and she was treated with the modern technology and she is also currently out of danger. A lady with multiple compound injuries was also treated and operated a day and she is also out of danger now, he said. He said that all six injured patients admitted in hospital are out of danger and are being treated properly at the hospital and will be discharged after recovery. Recording manpower shortage, Dr Bhatia said that manpower shortage isn't in GMC Rajouri only it is pan state and government is working upon it—(KNO)
